Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data HDM Business Automations collects, why, where it goes and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short and plain: if something here is unclear, ask us.

Who we are

HDM Business Automations is a sole proprietorship in India (Udyam UDYAM-MH-19-0448886), run by Hitesh Mali. We decide how your data is used, so we are responsible for it.

This policy covers this website (hdmbusinessautomations.com, including the Editor World and Video Library pages), messages you send us, and the forms in our own Facebook and Instagram ads. Our apps that handle more data have their own notice, for example HDM SocialDesk’s privacy policy.

What we collect, and why

Facebook and Instagram lead forms

What:
Your name, phone number and city, as you type them into the form in our ad.
Why:
To call or WhatsApp you about the product you asked about, and nothing else.
Where it goes:
Meta passes your answers to HDM SocialDesk, our own software on our server in India. Our team sees them in a leads list and may get a WhatsApp alert.

WhatsApp, calls and email

What:
Your number or email address, your name, and what you write to us.
Why:
To answer you, send a quote, or support you as a customer.
Where it goes:
Our WhatsApp and our email inbox. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy also applies to the chat.

Editor World bookings

What:
Your name, business name, mobile number, city, any coupon code you enter, and the plan or slot you pick.
Why:
To confirm and schedule your booking, and to contact you about it.
Where it goes:
Saved on our server, and sent to our team's Telegram chat so we can reply quickly.

Video Library

What:
Your mobile number and MPIN (or your private access link), the device you sign in on, and what you do there: visits, minutes watched, videos played, and your buy or ask taps.
Why:
To let you in, stop paid videos from being shared, and follow up when you tap to buy or ask about a product.
Where it goes:
Saved on our server in India. Only HDM sees it.

Visiting this website

What:
Your IP address and browser details, which every website receives.
Why:
To deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks and spam.
Where it goes:
Cloudflare, our network provider, and our server. The Editor World form uses your IP address for a short time, in memory, to stop repeated submissions; it is not saved.

What we never do

  • Run advertising or analytics trackers on this website: no Google Analytics, no ad networks, no tracking pixels.
  • Sell, rent or trade your personal data.
  • Take payments or ask for card or bank details on this website. Payments are arranged with us directly.

Cookies and browser storage

  • Video Library login. One cookie keeps you signed in. It lasts up to 400 days, or until you sign out.
  • Homepage intro. A note in your browser’s session storage makes the opening animation play once per visit. It holds no personal data and is cleared when you close the tab.
  • Security. Cloudflare may set a cookie that protects the site from bots.

We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who helps us run this

These companies process data for us, only to provide their service:

  • Utho Networks Pvt. Ltd. (India): our server.
  • Cloudflare, Inc.: network, security and email routing.
  • Google (Gmail): the inbox our email is delivered to.
  • Telegram: our team’s chat for new Editor World bookings.
  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp): when you use their lead forms or chat with us there.

Some of them store data outside India. We share nothing with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

We keep leads, enquiries and bookings only as long as we need them to reply, follow up and keep our business records. Video Library data stays while your access is active. Ask us at any time and we delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep a record (for example, an invoice).

Your choices and rights

Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete it;
  • stop contacting you, at any time;
  • let someone you nominate act for you.

Message us using the contacts below. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

How we protect it

Your data is kept on our own server in India, which only HDM can access, and every connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS).

Children

Our products and services are for businesses. They are not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children’s data.

Changes to this policy

When we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
